Caroline Wood, Joy to friends and associates alike, is a graduate from Chaffey Community College with an associates degree in General Education and four Certificates in Web Design. She had a brief education for a major in Business and Contract Law, at Cal Poly Pomona, and is now pursuing an education at Cal State Fullerton in the area of English. She intends to become a High School English teacher and Creative Writer. Her current goals are to finish her Bachelors in English, followed by her credentials for teaching single subject and getting a Masters in Fine Arts in Creative-Writing.

She is motivated to self teach herself any programs she doesn't know by "mucking around" with them until she discovers how they work. By this method she entered all of her design classes with the determination to go above and beyond the call of duty. Her final project for the last computer class she took was a 150+ page personal web site (Soulshaven.net in a different form.) An avid computer person, she has built, and rebuilt computers from parts her family has grown no-use for.

Among her other skills is a passionate need to be a Storyteller. She puts an emphasis for this love for storytelling on all things she does, be it a web site, a movie or picture. If it doesn't tell a story then she hasn't done her job. With skills such as typing 80 wpm with a high accuracy and a quick wit for learning new programs she can easily stay up on top the latest and greatest on the Internet.

She has worked in sales, clerical and janitorial. Her last postion was one and a half years at Chaffey College where she developed and maintained the School of Business and Applied Technology's web site. Her greatest job however, is Mom to a seven year old little boy named William.

 

The Domain

Harpeah Designs was an original concept based off the teenage writings of the Designer. Harpeah, a magical world that was created in the mid-1990's, is the place where all her characters, stories and flights of fantasy take hold and wing. Because this is her "playground" it seemed only fitting to name her web-design company after it. For without Harpeah, the embodiment of her creativity, there would be no Designs to be created.
